Allison Thomas
Allison has had a passion for animals her entire life, tracing back as early as when she was 2 years old. She began her career in the veterinary field in 2000, while attending college at Texas Tech University. Before graduating with a degree in Wildlife Management in 2004, she worked on projects studying the populations of Rio Grande Turkeys in Kansas and Lesser-Prairie Chicken in New Mexico. After graduating, she dove right back into the veterinary field, learning & developing her skills as a veterinary assistant. She also owned a pet sitting business, which included taking care of 3 mountain lions, a bobcat, and a lynx one week every year for 5 years. When not at work, she enjoys working for a local company pet sitting, bird watching, painting, get togethers with friends, thrift stores, her sweet kitty, Holiday, family time, and spending time with her boyfriend of 4 years.
Ashley Jones
Ashley is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming. After serving 6 years in the U.S. Air Force, Ashley moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue her dream to work with animals. Ashley graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2015. Since then she has gained experience in general practice, specialty, and emergency veterinary medicine. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys traveling and watching horror movies with her husband and spending time with her 2 dogs and 2 cats!
Chanel Elrod
Chanel grew up in Tulsa, OK and is a die hard Sooner fan. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Science and is planning on going to veterinary school in the future. Her plan is to work with dogs, cats, and exotics. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her fiancé, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs, Bella & Thor!
Deanna Taylor
Deanna has been a Registered Veterinary Technician in Oklahoma since 2003. She has worked in general veterinary practices, emergency and critical care and even horse reproduction clinics. In addition to ophthalmology, Deanna is interested in animal nutrition and aging and hospice pet care. At home, Deanna enjoys horseback riding with daughter Natalie, and welcomed baby boy Jude in 2016.
Ginger Laxson
Ginger currently lives in Midwest City. She attended Oklahoma State University and has worked as Dr. Gwin’s transcriptionist since 2003. She loves to travel, but most of all enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Joy Williams
Joy received her RVT certification in 2007 but has worked in the veterinary field for close to 30 years. She retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant after 23 1/2 years of service. She is also the founder of the local animal rescue, Misfits, Mutts and Meows which was established in 2010.

Nancy is from Oklahoma City, OK and has been practice manager for Animal Eye Clinic for a year and a half. In addition to her responsibilities at the clinic Nancy also has a busy home life and is mother to 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 tortoises. When she is not working Nancy enjoys gardening, cooking, golfing, and spending time with her family at the lake.

Theresa is from Edmond Oklahoma and has worked for Dr. Gwin for 30 years. She is married with three children and five grandchildren. She loves to travel, read, spend time with her family and friends, and tryout new restaurants.
